Tried my new kimono and obi on for the yakuba retirement party friday. It had suddenly snowed 50 cm on Thursday so after deciding to wear a kimono to the party I had to shovel a circle around my car so I could get to the door in zori. The poker obi and sakura kimono go surprisingly well together. The whole effect is "kawaii." Or maybe that's just cuz everything is pink!ちょっと前に買ったトランプの帯と桜の着物を先週の金曜日の役場の退職送別会に着てみた。結構合いますね。東京で桜は満開ですが、こっち木曜日一気に冬が戻って、５０ｃｍぐらいも雪が積もりました。きものを着るために、がんばって雪寄せをした。
