I miss my kimonos! 恋しいキモノたち

恋しいキモノたちが海を渡っています。郵便に出した時、かなり郵便局の皆さんに心配されました。「船便？？！！濡れじゃったら、ねずみに食われたらどうする？」そういわれたら、やっぱりこっちも心配になったが、仕方ないですね。
　そう、二年間のＪＥＴプログラムでの日本の田舎生活が終わりました。着物をアメリカに送りましたが、しばらく台湾にいます。着物のない生活がさびしい！

I'm in Taiwan now and my kimono's are traversing the Pacific. My JET experience is over and I don't plan on living in Japan again in the near future? Is this the end of Tina's kimono life? Well, I plan on wearing then in the US but thought it would be too weird in Taiwan. Besides, it's too hot. I have with me only the yukata I made. (I also have 2 obi's - one summer and one tsumugi - I picked up the Tokyo before leaving Japan. :P)
