I picked up my houmongi today! Yay! The problem is... I don't have a fukuro obi to match.
今日は遊びだけで、同じ和服屋さんの安いほうの袋帯を合わせてみました。
When I went to pick up my houmongi I tried matching it with some of the cheaper fukuro obis in the store.
一般的な振袖用袋帯。華やかで、悪くないかも。A typical furisode obi. Not bad.
これも振袖用、青が面白いと思う。Another furisode obi. Blue is interesting. A little atypical but is kinda a complementary color and brings out tiny patches of blue on the kimono.
白っぽい、四季の花の超無難袋帯。地味かな？まだ２０代前半だよ。A white-based, flowers from all four seasons super versatile and conservative fukuro obi. Maybe too conservative for me. I'm still in my early 20's!
これも振袖用だけど、モダンな感じがすき。菊と桜の花びらです。シンプルだけど、インパクトある。一番好きかも。ちなみに、値段は２１０，０００円。；＿；Yet another furisode obi. But I like the modern design. It's chrysanthemuns and cherry blossom petals. It would be easy to coordinate and doesn't scream "I'm a furisode obi!" I think I like this one best. BTW, it costs 210,000 yen ($1802.11). ;_;
